TheeAmazingGrace (GRACIE BERRY)Gracie Berry is a Black, queer, cis-woman, community root-healer, freelance creative, and womanist. As a griot, she finds it important to share life from an Afro-diasporic experience before any of the margins. Gracie is a proud matrilineal descendant from the Mende People in Sierra Leone, born in West Philadelphia. An alumnus of Lincoln University of Pennsylvania, the nation’s first degree granting HBCU, Gracie is the embodiment of breaking generational curses, being the first on her mother’s side to graduate from college.
She is the owner of GirlrillaVintage, an Afrikan Roots and empowerment organization. Through her company she is sharing Afrikan cultural diasporic content, events, and perspectives through offerings of education, expressive arts, spirituality, vintage aesthetic, workshops, etc. All of Gracie’s offerings serve as tools to engage people of Afrikan descent in becoming more aware of their inherent birth right to their blood culture and identity, no matter how they were born into it. |
