Leonia believes in living out missions and evangelism in everyday life (as is evident in Col 3:17 and Mt 28:18-20). She loves to travel and believes that everywhere that her feet are blessed to explore is a mission field. In her travels, Leonia has visited various places in North America, West Africa, and Europe with the hopes of distinguishing Christianity from Western Culture and seeing the gospel bring unity while knowing that Christ alone can bring peace. She is a proud "Philly Jawn" that loves her niece, Peyton, all melanated people, The Philadelphia Eagles, and working with youth and young adults from various backgrounds. Leonia is active within her community and for 15 years continues to serve as one of the youngest Block Captains the City of Philadelphia. One of her aims in working with youth is to equip the nation's future leaders with a biblical world view, assist with discipleship and display how the gospel can be culturally relevant while bringing practical help, healing, and unity to all who believe. |
